Privacy Statement

Last updated: June 2026

This describes how the hosted Rooster service handles data. If you self-host, your own deployment is the data controller and this statement doesn’t apply.

What we store

  • Account β€” when you sign in (email/password or GitHub/Google), we store your email and name to identify you and tie workspaces to your account.
  • Workspace data β€” the orgs, teams, projects, tickets, comments and tags you create.
  • Audit log β€” a record of actions, attributed to the acting principal, including the self-reported MCP client name/version.
  • Operational logs β€” basic request metadata needed to run and protect the Service.

How it’s used

Data is used solely to operate the Service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where it lives

The hosted Service runs on Cloudflare Workers with a Turso (libSQL) database. Those providers process data on our behalf as infrastructure subprocessors.

Security & retention

We take reasonable, best-effort measures to protect data, but β€” as noted in theService Agreement β€” the Service is provided β€œas is” with no guarantees. Data is retained while your workspace exists.

Deleting your data

To remove your account or workspace data, contact the operator. (Self-hosters control their own data directly.)
