Service Agreement

Last updated: June 2026

This agreement covers the hosted Rooster service (the “Service”). By connecting an agent or signing in, you agree to these terms. Rooster is also open-source (MIT) — you can self-host instead of using the hosted Service.

Free, as-is, no guarantees

The Service is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. There is no service-level agreement, no guarantee of availability, uptime, durability, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use it at your own risk.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of the Service are not liable for any loss or damage — including loss of data, downtime, or any direct, indirect, or consequential damages — arising from your use of the Service. Keep your own backups of anything important.

Changes & discontinuation

The Service is offered on a best-effort, experimental basis. It may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice, and data may be removed. These terms may be updated; continued use means you accept the changes.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your account, the content you create, and using the Service lawfully. Don’t use it to store unlawful content or to abuse, attack, or overload the Service or others.
